This butler's pantry is an entertainer's paradise. Our clients are wine enthusiasts with a penchant for craft cocktails (see project “Euro Chic Wine Bar). They needed this space to function as both a home bar and overflow storage. As happens frequently with clients who are a couple, they each had a distinct vision for the space. We combined the moody modern vibe that the husband described with the vintage apothecary feel that the wife desired to create a space full of heritage features and custom details.

We worked with our clients to create a unique fluted molding profile on their cabinetry. Counter to ceiling glass cabinets flanking the sink provide a coffee pour-over zone and bourbon display. Honed soapstone counters lend an old world feel while black terracotta tiles provide texture and depth to the space. We created a custom wall-mounted brass shelving unit to finish off this speak-easy style space.
